New London — The day before the Fourth of July holiday, a short-sleeved Tony Sheridan navigated past a maze of donated furniture inside what will soon be the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s new downtown headquarters.
Sheridan, the chamber’s president and chief executive officer, roamed through the 8,300-square-foot former Merrill Lynch home at 92 Eugene O’Neill Drive pointing out the The Day Publishing Company, publisher of The Day newspaper, is launching a new weekly true crime podcast, “Looking for the Todt Family,” on Jan. 13.
Looking for the Todt Family, moderated by Taylor Hartz and Sten Spinella, both journalists at The Day, chases answers and looks beyond the national headlines to tell the Todt family’s story.
“We’ve been investigating this case for more than a year, trying to piece together how a seemingly perfect family from small-town Connecticut became the subject of a The Day Publishing Company, publisher of The Day newspaper, is launching a new weekly publication on Oct. 1, 2020 to cover the news in the eight (8) communities that comprise the greater Norwich area.
The Norwich Times joins the roster of the company’s 15 other free weekly newspapers that span the Connecticut coastline from East Haven to the Rhode Island border.

The Connecticut Airport Authority plans to sponsor a meeting with major businesses in the area, as it moves to step up efforts to restore commercial passenger service to the Groton-New London Airport, the head of the authority's board of directors said.
